Reach America’s Christian Education Partnership
“Partnering with Parents; Preparing Youth for Life!”
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
- To partner with parents through developing strategies that educates the “whole person,” preparing their young person/people for life.
- To develop and train the next generation of great American, Christian leaders.
- To create “C-4™ communities”: Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures, where youth can live, move, and become like Jesus.
- To provide tutoring for students who need assistance with their academics.
Our name reflects our ultimate goal: to implement this vision in North Idaho and beyond. Eventually we believe God wants us to Reach America!
Putting Formal Education in Context
At Reach America, the formal education of our children is of immense importance. Our kids must be ready for further education, college and/or vocational goals. At Reach America, we contend that formal education is an important part of a young person’s development.
We believe in a whole person approach to education. In the pursuit of formal education, we must not ignore the other critical elements that produce happy, healthy, well-rounded, and above all, godly young adults. Family, spiritual development, church involvement, preparation for marriage, play, healthy relationship development, spiritual and vocational mentoring, leadership training and community impact are essential as we prepare our young people to take on the challenges of adulthood.
Each morning the building is open and available to all our teens for tutoring in either online or homeschool academics. Students are provided a structured environment under the guidance of Mindy Brown, our Assistant Director.
At Reach America, our passion is to partner with parents to produce spiritually whole, healthy youth. Together, we can prepare youth for life – not just for college!
Leadership Development (Discipleship)
After lunch, our teens are involved in discipleship/leadership training. Our afternoon seminars stimulate the mind and soul. Our afternoons are dedicated to discipleship, leadership and cultural impact education. We also offer PE and electives.
Learning to lead others is a skill few Christians possess. In this age of cultural upheaval young people not only need to learn a Biblical worldview, they also need to be able to effectively defend a Biblical worldview and persuade others.
The essence of leadership development is found in Galatians 2:20 and 2 Timothy 2:2. One of the best illustrations of the impact of Biblical leadership is 1 Thessalonians, chapters one and two. It is from these Biblical passages that we have developed what we call the Christian Leadership Lifestyle or a Christian leader L.E.A.D.S.™ These five levels of leadership reflect our values of character development, service, knowing, and doing God’s will and leading others to lead.
- Look and See
- Encourage and Serve
- Develop Growing Disciples
- Success: When those I am leading are leading others
Creating Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures
In Acts 17:28, Paul writes, “In him we live and move and have our being.” In short, where our youth “live” and “move,” they “become”. Christian youth are living and moving in an anti-Christian culture. We believe that the current American culture is a “culture of death”. A vital part of spiritual development for young people is creating “Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures” where they can live, move, and become like Christ. Young Christians are not only preparing for a future vocation, they are rebuilding a “culture of life” now and for their future families.

Friday Learning Experiences
North Idaho and the surrounding area is chock full of educational and recreational opportunities to explore and enjoy. Each Friday, we plan to load up the youth in our program and visit the wonders of our area.
We are in the process of developing partnerships with various ministries in which our youth and their families can become involved.
How can families participate in the Reach America Leadership program?
Reach America is a membership-based organization. Our 36-week program follows the typical educational calendar, September through June.
Membership in the Reach America program is $2,400 annually or $240 per month for the first youth and $1,800 annually or $180 per month for additional youth in the family. Our program runs from September through June.
Parental Involvement is Encouraged
We believe parents are the main spiritual and academic educators of their children. Parents are FREE to attend our programs and are encouraged to participate in all aspects of our program.
