“Partnering with Parents; Preparing Youth for Life!”
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

Our Christian youth need to prepare for life, not just for college. At Reach America, our passion is to partner with parents and local churches to produce spiritually whole, healthy youth. We seek:

  • To partner with parents through developing strategies that educates the “whole person,” preparing their young person/people for life.
  • To develop and train the next generation of great American, Christian leaders.
  • To create “C-4™ communities”: Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures, where youth can live, move, and become like Jesus.

Our name reflects our ultimate goal: to implement this vision in North Idaho and beyond. Eventually we believe God wants us to Reach America!

Home School Co-op

The Co-op meets 3 Sessions for the entire school year calendar, one day a week with optional field trips on a separate day of the week. Sessions will run as follows:

Session 1: September-October (9 weeks)

Session 2: January-February (8 weeks)

Session 3: April-May (9 weeks)

Parent Participation:

This is a co-op; however parent participation is not required during all three blocks of classes.  Parents are expected to teach in at least 1 session out of the 3 each year. Classes during the first two blocks will be taught by parents and RA Staff, while lunch time and after will be overseen by the RA Staff and Interns.  Parents who are teaching will be able to leave the campus during the school hours when lunch begins.  Parents not teaching in a session will be allowed to leave campus during school hours and return to pick up their children at the end of the school day.  This program is designed to provide supplemental education to what is being taught in the home as well as provide leadership/discipleship training.  This a great opportunity to help teach our children beyond their salvation in Christ and who they truly are in the body of Christ to become the generation to get America back to its foundation-GOD!

More About Leadership Development (Discipleship)

Learning to lead others is a skill few Christians possess. In this age of cultural upheaval young people not only need to learn a Biblical worldview, they also need to be able to effectively defend a Biblical worldview and persuade others.

The essence of leadership development is found in Galatians 2:20 and 2 Timothy 2:2. One of the best illustrations of the impact of Biblical leadership is 1 Thessalonians, chapters one and two. It is from these Biblical passages that we have developed what we call the Christian Leadership Lifestyle or a Christian leader L.E.A.D.S.™ These five levels of leadership reflect our values of character development, service, knowing, and doing God’s will and leading others to lead.

  • Look and See
  • Encourage and Serve
  • Adjust/Apprentice
  • Develop Growing Disciples
  • Success: When those I am leading are leading others

Creating Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures
In Acts 17:28, Paul writes, “In him we live and move and have our being.” In short, where our youth “live” and “move,” they “become”. Christian youth are living and moving in an anti-Christian culture. We believe that the current American culture is a “culture of death”. A vital part of spiritual development for young people is creating “Christ-Centered, Counter-Cultures” where they can live, move, and become like Christ. Young Christians are not only preparing for a future vocation, they are rebuilding a “culture of life” now and for their future families.

We enjoy helping students navigate the sometimes-murky waters of academic classes such as math and English. Each morning, Monday through Wednesday from 8am-12pm, Reach America provides tutoring free as a service to our member families who are educating their youth at home. We provide evening tutoring for all non-member students for a fee. To learn more about these services, please Contact Us.
